Being a **** Munch and Living the Brand
If you don’t know what this is about, then please refer to my previous write up (hah.. write up nice name I coined).
MA says today -
[I have a lot of respect for many of the writers and editors at Wired. But as far as I’m concerned Wired.com, from Editor-In-Chief Evan Hansen on down to Betsy Schiffman, has clearly crossed an ethical line here. Perhaps they are giving up the fight to write relevant content and are resorting to sensationalist trash like this to generate page views. If that’s the case, it is a shame. I used to love that magazine.]
Wired has said this -
Just to reiterate:
- We have nothing against Arrington.
- We don’t think journalism is some sacred activity that should be studied and practiced by a select few who are chosen by an even more select few.
- We heart blogs.
Now if somebody wants to answer this, then please go ahead.
1) Does Techcrunch need WSP to display (or whatever is their fancy term) its articles. I think it should be other way round. Does WSP want to print them ? I did not get it.
2) Doesn’t Wired need such deals badly (sadly)
3) Shouldn’t Techcrunch syndicate (yes I got the word now) Wired’s articles under a special category to be named by Hugh Macleoad ?
And if you dont know what it means then here it is.
